Chivas Brothers has a fascinating history that traces its’ origins to a grocer’s business selling quality provisions, wine and spirits in Aberdeen in 1801. James Chivas joined the business in 1836 and in 1857, John Chivas joined his brother as a partner and they created Chivas Brothers.
Today Chivas Brothers is the Scotch whisky and premium gin business of Pernod Ricard, the world’s co-leader in wines and spirits.
